My Ongoing Hijab Story.

salaam dear readers, am hoping you are all doing well... am starting my (muslimah inFucus) series by first sharing my ongoing hijab story (journey).... the (muslimah infucus) series is basically all about the Muslim woman
Assalaamualaikum, (peace be unto you all.
I had my schooling in an Islamic school, were we are tought both islamic studies and secular education. Then on saturdays and sundays i attend to the madarasa, were only islamic studies are tought. And at both schools we wear the hijab... i do not know about now, but in my days we were never told of the reason why we had to put on the hijab.
after school when i came back home i will take off the hijab. So after some time i start to ask my self questions about the hijab.... Why i l only had to wear the hijab when going to these two places ? It must be important in the life of the muslimah, at that time i had no one to look up to,, so i took the decision to start covering my head with a scarf or with any piece of cloth i can get my hands on, i felt good about it, because somehow i knew i was not decieving my self anymore
my knowledge and understanding about the hijab increased when i started reading hijab stories by other sisters on the internet, that was when i came across the ayats (verses) in the Qur'an that talks all about the hijab and modesty. SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) my life changed for the best, i finnaly had my guidans for this journey, since then i have lived a content and confiedent lifestyle and am recognize wherever i am.
the hijab is a whole way of life for me, that is why this post is tittled my ongoing hijab story. I learn new things at every step of the way.

Salaam, Peace
